MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR 2018/2019 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to announce that the Matriculation of all the Fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students for 2018/2019 Academic Session is re-scheduled to hold as follows:</br> <b>Date: Saturday, 6th April, 2019</br> Venue: Convocation Square</br> Time: 7:00am prompt</br></b></br></br> 2. All Fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students MUST ATTEND the Matriculation Ceremony. However, Students who were previously matriculated by Gombe State University are exempted from participation.</br></br></br> 3. All Matriculating Students should collect the Academic Robe from their respective Faculty Officers and the Secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies from Wednesday, 3rd April, 2019 on payment of One Thousand Naira only (N1,000.00) at the Bursary Department.</br></br></br> 4. <b><h3>International Journal of Economics and Development Policy (IJEDP) Department of Economics,</h3><br/> <h4>Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences,<br/> Gombe State University, <br/>P.M.B. 127 Gombe,<br/> Gombe State, Nigeria.<br/></h4> <h2>Call for Papers</b></h2> <b><br/><br/>a) ABOUT THE JOURNAL<br/></b> The International Journal of Economics and Development Policy (IJEDP) is a bi-annual international, double blind peer-reviewed journal of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Gombe State University of Nigeria. <br/><br/><b>b) SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL<br/></b> The IJEDP is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary in nature and welcomes scholarly articles from different academic disciplines, e.g. all fields of economics, sociology, political science, public administration, psychology, accounting, business, climate change, geography, geology and the natural sciences that discuss newest development challenges of the society and/or focus on public and private policy. The IJEDP promotes the cooperation and communication among the academics, policy makers, and practitioners interested in contemporary development and policy issues. Moreover, the journal welcomes short communications, research articles, policy papers, book reviews, etc. <br/><br/><b>c) GUIDELINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES<br/></b> i. All manuscripts should be written in good English language;<br/> ii. Articles should also focus on the contents and be original.<br/> iii. Articles should appear in the following order:<br/> • Title; <br/> • Author(s) name and affiliation;<br/> • Abstract;<br/> • Key words;<br/> • JEL classification code;<br/> • Introduction; <br/> • Literature review; <br/> • Methodology; <br/> • Results/Findings and Discussion;<br/> • Conclusion and policy recommendations;<br/> • References;<br/> • Appendix/Appendices. <br/> iv. Manuscripts must be typed using Times New Roman font type, with 12-point font size and 1.5-line Spacing;<br/> v. Abstract must not be more than 250 words and the entire write up must not exceed 13 pages, base on our type-setting, but for extra pages beyond 13, special charges will be applied. Also, key words should be 4-6 words;<br/> vi. The journal adopts American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style;<br/> vii. Manuscript may be sent back to the author(s) for corrections to be effected where necessary;<br/> viii. There is no specific dateline for submission. Articles should be submitted any time of the year but would basically be published in June and December.<br/> <br/><br/><b>d) SUBMISSION<br/></b> i.
