The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences was created, alongside the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education, at the inception of the University, in 2005. The Faculty houses nine departments: Department of Accounting, Department of Business Administration, Department of Economics, Department of English, Department of History, Department of Political Science, Department of Public Administration, Department of Religious Studies and Department of Sociology. The Faculty is thus a combination of the Arts, Social Sciences and Management Sciences.
