About the Department

The Department is one of the clinical sub-specialty among others in the department of surgery, College of Medical Sciences, Gombe State University, which became operational in 2016. it started as a small structural unit which has developed into a more comprehensive and conducive complex environment for learning and research proposes. the department plays major role in teaching undergraduate 500 level students to be abreast in clinical diagnosis and minor eye diseases.
