Management Information Unit
BRIEF MANDATE OF THE UNIT
The Management Information Systems (MIS) Unit of the University was established in the year 2017 with the mandate to enhance a robust information management across all directorates and units of the university, specifically as enshrined in the university ICT strategic plan spanning over a minimum period of 10 years targeting 2029. In liaison with the ICT Directorate, the MIS Unit undertakes to automate most of the tasks being carried out by all directorates and units of the university and facilitate the maintenance of complete students, staff and departmental records in electronic form for easy manipulation, retrieval and management of data in databases.

- Development of Online Post-UTME Registration Portal.
- Development of Online Staff Data Portal
- Development of Staff ID Card Management System
- Development of Results Compiler of Diploma and Part-time Programmes under the Directorate of Human Resource Development.
- Development of Online Students Registration Portal for Diploma and Part-time Programmes under the Directorate of Human Resource Development.
- Development of a Robust Bursary Records and PV-Processing Portal.
- Development of online Academic Journal Management Software for several departments in the university
- Development of robust online Co-operative Management portal for staff multipurpose co-operative societies in the university
- Maintenance of Bursary payroll system in the university
